Just got a new Android and can’t seem to locate Kik nor Pinoy Henyo either! Strange. To think Kik (and Pinoy Henyo) were installed on my last Android. Now I kinda regret giving that phone up, although it was time. Hopefully it appears again on the Market sometime soon.

I have no doubt that if the service is done by Philippe himself, it would be exceptional. But obviously, in this review, I was trying out the salon via a special deal so Philippe was not the one attending to me himself. Just the same, I believe that a “Luxury Salon”, as you put it, should be able to execute exceptional service regardless of who is attending to you. I’ve been to Salon de Manila (to name just one of the high end salons I’ve tried) countless times. Pin Antonio has never attended to me herself but I’ve gotten exceptional service every single time.

Girls, for me, I never had a bad experience with Philippe’s. I think this is because my hairstylist is Philippe himself. For you to have the full experience of a Luxury Salon – you should go for the owner to do your hair. I know he’s really expensive but it is worth every peso you spent.

Just stumbled upon your blog, and I had quite a similar experience last week… but mine involves the bus driver along Baclaran, and a bunch of MMDA (I think) officers.

I know this is not legal, but it’s out of our hands, since this unfortunately is already the culture in the Phil.

I’d say everyone’s rude at the zen institut— well, some do wear their plastic smiles *grin*. they are cheaters. yah, they do the services but not the standard procedure. the managers are incompetent! and the schedulers are stupid!
