Karin is the youngest of four children, born and raised a few streets away from their family business, Alfredo’s Steaks (on Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City), where she holds the position of Director for Finance and Chef Patron.
Despite graduating with a degree in BS Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1995, Karin chose to work in the local music industry as an Artist Manager. Some of the artists she has worked with include Agot Isidro, Brix Ferraris, the Eraserheads, MOJOFLY, Color It Red, Sandwich, Guji Lorenzana, Julianne Tarroja, SUGARFREE, and Toto Sorioso, to name a few.
She just quite recently retired (this is her 3rd attempt at “retirement” from the music industry).
At present, Karin runs Cook Filipino and Postre. She also spends most of her free time training her dogs Jorge and Chance.
Good day Ms. Karin! I’m Loop (stagename) singer-songwriter-producer, 26 years of age, male. I’m currently an unsigned indie artist unfortunately with no manager as well, pardon me for we haven’t even met in person but still just wanna ask a big favor from you, I’m very eager in passing my demo for you to listen and assess if you think my music’s appeal has a chance in being released with today’s industry standards, my music is basically pop rnb acoustic like Dakota Moon’s A promise to make to give you an idea.
